Hardly any snow at work today, but 25 miles away back home in Mansfield it's been a blizzard!

Here's a pair of LE's that have stood collecting it today, Nemo on the left and Gigi on the right...

Good old Eddie is reliably plugging through the snow to get me there and back!

It was Nemo

He's bent the door, and it hit the sill on the end of the cross-member by the jacking point. I'm not sure if the door frame's bent or whether we can just reskin. It shuts fine, but the sill & step are out of shape. The inner sill will need jacking out as it's bent at the end of the cross-member, the step will need at least straightening and perhaps a patch, and the sill will need pulling out - not sure a slide hammer will do it, I suspect I may have to cut open, knock out from inside, then weld back up. And of course he's kerbed an alloy.

Nothing that can't be repaired, but just annoying on such a good car. The most expensive bit will be the sprayjob - I can't spray to that standard, not in metallic, and my tame sprayer has packed up. My only other bodyshop contact is in Birmingham!

You've had about as much snow as we have then. When Adam went to drive Nemo again at the weekend, we had to dig the snow away from the doors as it was above the sills.

Of course Eddie has got me to work every day through it all - we closed two days, but fortunately the first day of that, the coil failed and he wouldn't start - by the time I'd swapped it, I had to phone to say I'd be late, only to be told they had just decided to close! Good timing for once.
