I purchase a 1976 Mini 1000 LE (Special) late last year. I picked the car up from ebay for £400 and it was in a terrible state. I was aware at the time that the car was quite rare but after doing some research (Barely any info on it at all!!) I found out that it is REALLY VERY RARE! I am currently restoring the car to its original state using almost all original parts. Does anyone on here own one?? I know that only a few are know to exist and not many people know they exist at all, but I have regestered mine on here. If anyone has any infomation on it or has one themselves or just general comments on it then it is all welcome. Also i'm finding it very hard to put a potential value on the car as it is so rare and would possibly only sell to a collector, so if anyone has a ball park figure of what it could be worth that would be very very helpful as well? As I said it will be fully restored to standard form with all its unique original parts being used. Thank you.
