My 30, recently back on the road after 13 years in a Carcoon






All bodywork/subframes are original, waxoyled from when I purchased it in 92. Had to re-bore the engine due to oil burning, fitted a 12G295 Cooper head, LCB and 1-1/2" SUs, also fitted a John Cooper dash. All of this was done just before I put it off the road due to re-locating with work. Only just had a new garage built to enable me to bring the car home at last.

That's very nice! Are you planning to be out at any shows this year? I'll have to look out for you.

I live in Aberdeen therefore don't really get much opportunity to attend any of the events based in the south. I will try though now I have the car back home,

I guess it is a long way to most major events for you. I don't consider myself to be "south" - in fact when my daughter goes to her boyfriend in Birmingham they make Jimmy Saville noises at her!- but compared with Aberdeen I might as well live in London!

There are a few decent events up there though.
